Hugo started racing single seaters in the 90’s with Empress Racing achieving many podiums. Approached by Paul Stewart Racing to race single seaters Hugo opted to race saloon cars with BMW.

He then took a sabbatical from racing to concentrate on tutoring and to look after his baby daughter. Eventually Hugo came  back to circuit  racing in 2012 with Porsche and continues to race a Porsche to present day.

Hugo's main racing category. Porsche Club Championship organises trackdays in the most notable circuits such as Silverstone, Brands Hatch & Goodwood.

Being a part of the Classic Sports Car Club allowed Hugo to race and teach through their buddy system. Novice or experience, this category organise many events during the year.

The 750 Formula, one of the longest running championships in the world which Hugo has raced in several legs.

It’s mandatory for racing and driving instructors to renovate their licenses yearly. Keeping instructors up to date and maintaining high standards approved by FIA (Federation Internationale d’Automobile).
